ANGEL WINGS

Mom,

I know that you are here, and I know that you held me up with your angel wings when I fell.  I felt your support, your love, and your laughter, saying, “Meg, it’s not your time.  There is too much for you to do on the earth plain.”  Your work has just begun; there’s no holding back, you need to be like the butterfly and take flight.  The messages that I keep sending to you, you’re not getting.”  STOP WASTING YOUR TIME.  Let go and soar!  Don’t be afraid I am near, just call my name and I will appear, maybe in your dreams or on a truck or maybe you will meet someone dear that reminds you of me.  No doubt about it when I was with you I couldn’t get the girl out of you.  You always wanted to be a tomboy with the bruises all over your body.  Taking you to the doctor I was so embarrassed, thinking that he thought that I beat my child all the time. 

You always were trying to keep up with your older brother, both of you so excited about life and living IT.  Both of you with your zest and enthusiasm for life.  Trying to just keep you from running hard.  What I said or did you two just knew in your minds the determination and drive was only a stone’s throw away.  Maybe I’m not there to yell at both of you, but believe me now I am next to you saying, “Just slow down,”  Be like the turtle who wears everything on his back:  his house, his heart, and sticks his head out and slowly gets to his destination.  Slow and steady he wins the race.  Take my advice.  You and your brother only got to where you are because you stuck your head out!  STOP your worrying, STOP your STRESS, the talents that both you have are gifts that are meant to be shared.

Now mend your pained body and get on with the show, just slow down, slow down and enjoy the journey!  Both of you!  The things that you do in life you will succeed.  Let go of the outcome and enjoy the ride.  Don’t be like the rocket, just stay like the TURTLE.  I send you these messages for you to share and always, always remember that I am there!  

Love you with all my heart, and you know love heals as well!  So stay close and love each other!
